"Paul" surprised us all and was the first to arrive at 3:10 am on Thursday the 1st of January 2004. He weighed 3 1/2 ounces and is a beautiful tiny black and tan boy with white on his chest and chin.
Paul came from a litter of 5 other littermates all born very healthy.

Paul's first week of bottle feedings he would consume 4 Tbs. of formula in a 24 hour period in addition to nursing on mom. Paul weighed 3 1/2 oz at birth and by one week of age he is at 7 oz. Any healthy puppy should have doubled its weight in its fist week of life.
